Tier guide from FTB questsโ
Source: einformation_7new_mechanics.snbt
"Rogues are melee builds that focus on attacking fast, dealing constant damage to targets. Stat-wise the main priority is Haste, then Physical Damage. Gear-wise you should look for fast attacking weapons that are one-handed so you can dual wield them."
- Tier II: Assassin Set (+5% haste/piece โ Tier III upgrade)
- Tier III: Souldancer Set (highest haste of any armor)
- Tier IV: Mutant Skeleton chestplate (chest drops, see
MutantMonsters)
Dual-wield setupโ
Pack supports proper dual-wielding via bettercombat-fabric:
- Main hand: fast dagger (
Daggers_Fixdatapack applied) - Off-hand: second dagger
add_spell_casting_to_swords: truemeans daggers can also cast spells if you go hybrid
Alternative โ Monkโ
Same quest tier guide mentions:
"An alternative path of the Rogue is a Monk, which uses Fist weapons. You can get a Fist of Fury for those builds."
Fist of Fury is craftable, then can be evolved via the artifact path (see artifact_reforging.snbt):
"This soulfire fist can enrage anyone if also wielding its sister weapon; the Fist of Fury, making it a lethal choice for martial artists."
Stat priorities (verified from talent rewards)โ
- Haste โ multiplicative attack speed (Shadow Techniques +35%, Tiered Mythic +5%)
- Physical Damage โ additive (lower priority than haste)
- Crit Chance โ Tiered Mythic melee +10%
- Lethality โ ignores % of target armor
- Lifesteal โ Omnivampirism +2% baseline
