Day 1 — The Fastest Path to Power
A concrete sequence that combines every loophole you have access to in your first session.
Hour 1 — Setup
- Cast fishing rod with
fishonthelinenear spawn water → leave it AFK - TreeChop wood → craft basics
- Plant Hydroangeas + Endoflame near water → passive Botania mana for later
- Open the FTB Quest Book (top-left book icon) → claim the free rewards from
getting_started.snbt
Hour 2 — Find a village
Your goals at the village:
- Toolsmith chest — Artifacts loot inject (25% chance for artifact)
- Snorkel, Flippers, Umbrella, Golden Hook, Digging Claws all possible
- Librarian — find one selling Mending book for ≤30 emeralds
- Re-roll trades by breaking/replacing their lectern
- Drop a Trading Post in the middle once you have multiple villagers
- Place a Waystone (
wraith-waystones) — fast travel home
Hour 3 — Start the Grindstone Dupe
- Buy ONE Mending book from the librarian (4-30 emeralds)
- Apply Mending to any cheap pickaxe at the anvil
- Put pickaxe + book in Grindstone (Grind Enchantments recipe) → keep both
- Repeat → you now have unlimited Mending books
Hour 4 — Create water wheel
- Smelt iron, craft Andesite Alloys (Create's bootstrap material)
- Water wheel → free rotation, day 1
- Cobblegen + Millstone → grind cobble → crushed stone
- Encased Fan + lava → fan washing → free iron/gold nuggets
- Output to a chest → first passive ore stream
Hour 5+ — Compound everything
Now things stack:

kibe, unlimited per player) → keep farms running 24/7 - Start steel production (Coke Oven → Steel) → goal: MI Steam Quarry
- Hunt for Lucky Scarf artifact (chests/mob drops) → +1 luck for Tiered reforges
Week 1
- Steel Steam Quarry online → passive diamonds + emeralds
- Reforge weapons with luck stacked → Mythic affixes
- Talent tree climbing to first Fate
- AE2 starter — basic ME terminal + drives
